Packing like a Pro
Packing is one of the most important aspects of a move, simply because it is through packing that you manage the transport of you things. The way you pack also dictates how long you'll unpack and how organized (or disorganized) it will be when you get to your new home. One tip that's very important - and very basic as well - is to pack by rooms. For example, pack all the things from the master's bedroom together, and don't mix them up with other items like the things from the master bedroom's bathroom. This is so unpacking will be more organized and you won't have to search everywhere for things you've put in other different boxes. When you move in, all you need to do is set the corresponding boxes in the rooms they belong to, and unpack away. Another important part of packing involves making an inventory of things you are packing. This is so you can account for everything you are bringing along with you during the move and so you can also know which things you might have forgotten. You should also label your boxes, so that you know what's inside. This is especially important when it comes to fragile things.
